Many Rwandans know what it is like to see a loved one in a public hospital without access to proper nutrition while undergoing treatment. Together, we can change this.
“We Are Solid Together” campaign is a movement uniting Rwandans and friends of Rwanda in contributing to a Rwanda where every patient in public hospitals has access to nutritious meals.
This campaign invites everyone from individuals, businesses, and community groups to gift a meal that heals, in solidarity with patients who are going without. With 1,000 RWF, Solid’Africa provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner for one patient for a full day.
This year also marks a milestone: 15 years of Solid’Africa. In 2010, what started as a small group of young Rwandans who cared enough to take action, has grown into a nationally recognized organization building sustainable, locally driven public nutrition infrastructure. Today, Solid’Africa is serving 1,500 patients every day. Rooted in the spirit of solidarity, this campaign celebrates the power of community-driven action. Proof that when Rwandans stand together, anything is possible.
Since 2010, we have served over 10 million meals and reached over 818,000 patients in public hospitals across Kigali. Now is the time to invite our community to join us in shaping a Rwanda where every patient in public hospitals has access to nutritious meals.
